Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein 3D removed from Android Market

Unofficial versions of id Software’s Doom Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein 3D removed from Android Market, Quake  Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein 3D removed from Android Marketand Wolfenstein 3D Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein 3D removed from Android Market have now been removed from the Android Marketplace.
“Although the Doom source code was open sourced and the application was based on a port of the PrBoom engine, the application is still suspended,” Doom for Android developer L!TH!UM told Android and Me.
“My mistake was allowing the download of the Plutonia and TNT WADs, at least that is what I suspect.”
Android and ZeniMedia have entered negotiations to bring legitimate versions of the games to the platform. However, it is thought that official editions of the id Software classics will eventually arrive on the Android, following their success on the iPhone.
