If you take any stock in the image above, you may want to mark May 22nd on your calendar and keep a close eye here on AndroidOS.in. The folks over at Phandroid spotted this tantalizing image, which appears to be a press invite for an event in London that will be the glorious unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S III.
Of course, it does seem a bit odd that the invite would be going out so far in advance, so that leaves us with the question as to whether this is legitimate or not. At any rate, the SGSIII is undoubtedly one of 2012’s most talked about phones, so we don’t mind joining in on the speculation one bit.
If the pictured device actually is the Galaxy S III, it looks like Samsung has decided to take a completely different design approach with its new flagship device in comparison to previous Galaxy S models. The curved body seems a bit dramatic and there looks to be a small slot on the side of the device, which I can only pray will not be used for holding a stylus or S-Pen.
Also, you may remember the Galaxy Nexus hype coughing up similar rumored press releases that hinted towards a curved body. We all see how that panned out.
So, what do you think? Is this the real deal or is it a cleverly home-brewed fake presser that should be overlooked with a smile?
