State-owned telecom operator BSNL has launched a 3D Android tablet called the Penta T-Pad WS702C priced at INR 7,499.
Manufactured by Pantel technologies, the Penta T-Pad WS702C features a 7-inch capacitive multi touch screen with a 1024X600 pixel resolution. It comes with a 2MP rear camera and VGA front camera, 8GB internal storage and runs on Android 4.0.
The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor with 1GB RAM.The tablet boasts 3D capabilities and claims six hours battery backup. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi, 2G voice calling support and 3G data via USB dongle.
Earlier this month, BSNL has also partnered with Wishtel to launch the IRA Icon 3G tablet priced at INR 10,500. The Wishtel IRA Icon features 7-inch display with 800x480p resolution, Android 4.0, 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2MP rear camera, 4GB of internal storage, 4000 mAh battery. and microSD card slot. Every tablet will be sold bundled with BSNL 3G SIM card and 2GB of data for 2 months.
Other offerings from BSNL include the Penta T PAD IS 701R, Penta TPAD WS704C and Penta TPAD WS802C.
