In a bid to move some of its mobile business out of Japan, Sharp has announced three new smartphones in the Singapore market. Powered by Android 4.0, these smartphones will land in the country in coming months. Company has partnered with distributer BrightStar to release these smartphones.
First of the Sharp smartphones to reach Singapore is SH530U, which sports a 5-inch WVGA display, dual-SIM connectivity, 5MP rear camera and 1950 mAh battery. It will be available starting tomorrow at S$488.
The second smartphone of the three is SH631W, which comes with 4.5-inch qHD display, 8MP rear camera, 4GB of internal storage, and 1650 mAh battery. It will reach the stores next month. The pricing is unclear at this point.
The last of the batch is the 4.7-inch HD display sporting SH837W, which also features 8MP rear camera, 4GB of internal storage, and 1900 mAh battery. There is no word on the pricing of this smartphone, but it will be reach market in December.
