HCL has silently released yet another tablet in the country. Dubbed as HCL Me Y3, it is company’s first dual-SIM Android tablet and has been priced at INR 11,999. Available now on Snapdeal, the HCL Me Y3 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, similar to most of other budget Android tablets currently retailing in India.
HCL Me Y3 also features a 7-inch 1024x600p display, 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage with microSD card slot.
The usual connectivity options are present including 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The tablet also supports voice calling. On the battery front, you will get a 3,100mAh battery in the tablet, which does not seem a lot for a 3G dual-SIM tablet.
HCL is not the first company to introduce dual-SIM tablets in the country, first Swipe Telecom released All-in-one tablet for INR 11,999, then iBall launched Slide 7334 3G tablet at a price tag of INR 10,990.
To remind you, HCL had also launched another tablet in the country recently, which carries the name – Me V1. It is now retailing for INR 7,790.
