Looks like Micromax isn’t the only Indian manufacturer to launch a budget quad-core smartphone in the country. After the launch of Micromax A116 Canvas HD, now Karbonn is preparing to launch S1 Titanium smartphone.
The phone was spotted on Karbonn’s official website and the company is currently taking the bookings for the same. The smartphone details are a little hazy right now, but Karbonn has revealed the following specifications.
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor (probably MediaTek)
- 5MP rear camera, front camera
- Dual-SIM connectivity
- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
- 1600 mAh battery
- qHD display
Looking at the product shot, the smartphone seems to be packing a 4.5-inch or 4.3-inch display. Online reports indicate the phone will be priced at INR 12,999 and would go on sale in the next few days. We hope to see an official announcement next week.
Earlier this week, Micromax had announced the launch of A116, which is a 5-inch quad-core smartphone with features like 1GB RAM, 720p display, 4GB internal storage, and Jelly Bean.
