HTC CEO Peter Chou seems to be pretty excited about HTC’s upcoming smartphone M7. In a footage of company’s year-end party, which was revealed online by Taiwan’s NextTV, Chou is shown snapping pictures of the crowd with the brand new M7 smartphone.
“This event today is a great opportunity for testing [the camera]. I was still testing it just now,” Chou is seen saying in NextTV’s clip. You can watch the video here.
Not much can be seen in this video, but another video of the same party seems to indicate the M7 might be the final name of this smartphone.
In this second video, Chou and HTC staff is chanting HTC! HTC! HTC! HTC! M7! M7! M7! – something, which is not normally seen at company’s public events.
HTC M7 is expected to be announced at company press event, which is scheduled for Feb 19 at London and New York. As per leaks, M7 will come with a 4.7-inch SoLux 1080p display, 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, front camera and Jelly Bean.
