Amazon releases software updates for 2nd-gen Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD & HD 8.9

Amazon has started rolling-out new software updates for its second-gen Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablets.  The updates will be automatically delivered to your Amazon tablet; however you can also manually trigger the update by swiping down from the top of the screen, and then tapping Sync.amazon-kindle-fire-hd-1

You can also manually download the update from Amazon’s website and apply it following the instructions given on the website.
