HTC’s plans of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 competitor have already been revealed in a string of leaks. Now, Mobile Geeks reports that this large-screen smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer will be coming in early-September. The publication cites Taiwanese sources for the current piece of information.
The site also claims that HTC One mini, the smaller cousin of HTC One phone, will be arriving in July, which is slightly in contrast with previous reports that had suggested an August release. Chances are that we will see the official announcement in late-July with the actual release in August.
Coming back to HTC One Max, if the early-September release is indeed accurate then this phablet from HTC will debut at the perfect time to take on Samsung’s third Note-series smartphone.
According to online reports, HTC One Max (codenamed T6) will feature a 6-inch Super LCD 3 1080p display, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32/ 64GB of internal storage.
In addition, the device with rock a 3200 (or 3300) mAh battery and Android alongside software customisations to take full use of the large screen.
