Panasonic might have decided to get out of smartphone manufacturing business but as the company had stated it continues to launch re-branded smartphones in India. Panasonic P11 and T11, both of which were first spotted on Flipkart months ago, are finally back and selling in the country via Snapdeal.
Talking about the smartphones, Panasonic P11 comes with 5-inch 720p HD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone also comes with dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 3G and 2000 mAh battery. The phone has been priced at INR 16,364 and will compete with the likes of Micromax A116 Canvas HD and other similar devices already available in the country.
On the other hand, Panasonic T11 packs a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone also features dual-SIM support, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 3G and 1500 mAh battery. The phone is retailing for INR 9,520.
Both the smartphones run on Android 4.1 and there is no word whether they will ever get updated to Android 4.2 or 4.3.
To remind you, Panasonic already offers P51 Android smartphone in the country, which is currently priced around INR 19,500.
