Although we are yet to see any Android flip phone succeed, Samsung seems to have grown fond of them. The company recently another Android flip phone in China with model number SM-W2014. The phone was first spotted last month in Chinese regulator TENAA database.
Packing some very impressive internals, Samsung W2014 features 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.3, 2GB of RAM and 13MP rear camera. The phone also comes with 2MP front camera, dual-SIM support (CDMA+GSM), 32GB of storage and microSD card slot. In addition, the phone includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and the usual sensors.
The only not-so-premium features of the phone are two 3.7-inch Super AMOLED WVGA displays and 1900 mAh battery.
There is no word on the exact release date of the phone but it is expected to be priced over ¥10,000 ($1640, INR 101198). We also don’t know at this point whether the phone will ever be released in another other markets.
