Mahindra to integrate Android Auto in XUV 500 & Scorpio models

XUV 500 with Android AutoMahindra has announced that it has joined Google’s Open Automotive Alliance and will be integrating Android Auto in its cars. The company will initially bring Android Auto to the flagship models of XUV 500 and the Scorpio.

There is no word on when exactly the Android Auto support will arrive on Mahindra cars, but we hope to hear more from the company in coming months.

To remind you, Android Auto works with Android 5.0+ smartphones and offers Google Maps & Navigation support, Google Now, voice-controls, third-party app support and integration with steering wheel controls. It is designed to provide a distraction-free driving experience to the car-owners.
