Exclusive: Google files for 'Nexus One' Trademark
Well, you do not need more than this. Google is surely bringing the Google Phone.
As we searched the Trademark Electronic Search System of US Patent & Trademark Office, it revealed that Google has indeed filed a Trademark application for ‘Nexus One‘ on Dec 10.
As many said that after all the hype ‘Nexus One’ could turn out as a mere Google Experience device. So, we now know that is not the case and Nexus One is indeed Google Phone.
Another search for HTC Passion or Bravo did not bring out any results, so HTC is not getting this phone trademarked coz, this is Google Phone
, HTC is only manufacturing it for Google as per their instructions.

"Motorola LaJolla" to beat "HTC Tattoo" in Budget Android category
Translating to “The Jewel” in Spanish, Motorola’s leaked La Jolla sounds like it will leave behind HTC Tattoo in the cheapest phone arena. Finally phone manufacturers are gearing up to tap the mass market capabilities of Android.
Android and Me found several references to the LaJolla (as well as the Zeppelin and Motus) in the source code for the Cliq. They’ve been able to dig some specs out of the code; a 528 MHz ARM11 processor, MAX7359 keyboard, Kionix 3-axis accelerometer driver.
Thanks to the newly-released Android 2.0.1 SDK, manufacturers are now able to use differently-sized screens, like the 240 x 400 resolution WQVGA the La Jolla supposedly has.
With its small screen, the LaJolla could be one of these $150-250 devices that Motorola has been alluding to. Current Android phones from Motorola are priced at $399 (CLIQ) and $559 (Droid).
Google Phone is real; Techcrunch confirms it
As we have been reporting for last two months that Google Phone is indeed coming. Several people have denied the presence of such device but Techcrunch gave a new spark to the debate today.
Our first and last guess for the device was always HTC Passion, the Android device which has been in talk for more than months. Built around Qualcomm’s 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, Passion will work on Android 2.0 (eclair) release and will try to bring Android to whole new level.
But Techcrunch says, the device will be built by LG. As their sources claim Google phone will be built with help of an Korean manufacturer. Which is LG. There have been rumors that LG is also working on a Snapdragon powered handset which can come out as pure Google Branded phone.
After the huge success of Droid, it becomes apparent the Google will strike this time. This Google branded phone might come on Verizon, with which Google has already had a successful relationship in the form on Droid, which is suceessful and rolling.
According to Techcrunch, Google is planning a big advertising push around the device early next year – like January.
