HTC might bring Sense 5 to HTC One X, X+, S and HTC Butterfly

sense-5HTC recently introduced the revamped Sense interface in the form of version 5.0 along with HTC One smartphone. The interface is much lighter and cleaner than company’s previous Sense iterations.

HTC One: Software preview

The smartphone will be available beginning mid-March in US and UK.  Not only HTC One packs state of the art hardware specifications, HTC has also included several new software features that would useful to the consumers.

HTC packs Blinkfeed, a Flipboard competitor, in Sense 5.0

blinkfeed-htcToday’s HTC One announcement in London/ New York was not just about HTC One smartphone, the Taiwanese manufacturer also introduced a brand new version of Sense user interface (well it is more than that) in the form of 5.0.

Sense 5.0 brings several new features of the HTC One (will be available in future phones too) and one of these is Blinkfeed – HTC’s very own Flipboard competitor.

HTC Blinkfeed brings content to home-screen, and this content comes from 1400 content partners that HTC has brought in along with users’ social media feeds. Blinkfeed is no app but sort of a widget that shows the latest and user’s favourite contents right on home-screen along with latest feed from his/her social accounts. Earlier today, we brought you news of the April 2 launch of the HTC One X and One V in India. As Anubhooti mentioned, the two devices will be priced at INR 35,000 and INR 17,000 respectively. If you have not already made up your mind as to if the ‘One’ series is for you or not, HTC has released a campaign video that is sure to make you at least consider picking one of these babies up. HTC to temporarily close cloud storage service; Sense users will lose all data April 30th

In a move that leaves me scratching my head, HTC has announced that it will temporarily shut down its cloud storage service, HTC Sense,   in what appears to be a renovation phase. Now, it’s not so much that they’re calling it quits for a brief spell that has me confused, it’s what the Taiwanese smartphone manufacture intends to do with its entire database that surprises me.
