Android-based Samsung Galaxy GT-i7500 coming SIM-free for £499 in UK

Fresh from being told that Samsung’s GT-i7500 Galaxy Android smartphone is coming to O2 in UK, we have now learnt that the phone is also going to be made available in SIM free variant.

Consumers will have to pay £499 for the privilege of owning the SIM-free version. It will be sold by online retailer King of Gadgets. At this pricing, the phone is certainly not cheap.

Currently, listed as ‘out of stock,’ the phone might take a few days to become officially available.
O2 haven’t given any indication on how much the Samsung GT-i7500 Galaxy is going to cost with contract, but considering the market trends, it is likely that you’ll have to fork out well over £30 a month for the phone.

To remind you, Samsung Galaxy features 3.2-inch HVGA AMOLED display, 128MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot with support up to 16GB of external storage. In addition, the phone packs 5MP rear camera, Android 1.5, and 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7200A processor with Adreno 130 GPU.
