General Mobile bringing Android 2.0 based phone soon


Droidmania is still not over, and we are hearing of another handset coming with Android 2.0. While most of other handsets with Android 1.6 or 1.5 are still due to get the update, General Mobile, a company famous for its Dual Sim handsets is suppedly bringing its second Dual Sim Android handset powered by Android 2.0
It’s first Android handset DSTL1 which was a Dual Sim smartphone has been quiet succesful in some market according to the company website.
We don’t have a release date but according to reports Turkey will get to see the mobile first.

However details are dripping in, this smartphone with come with Marvell’s PXA935 (624 MHz) processor. This Android phone will have a custom 3D UI.

  • Memory expendable upto 16GB with microSD
  • HSPDA
  • 5 MP camera
  • 3.2″ Capacitive Screen with 320 X 480 pixel resolution and also supports Multi Touch

  • and of-course Dual Sim compatibility
