‘Near Me Now’ feature comes to Google Mobile Search for Android

Google has come up with a “near me now” feature into Google Mobile Search as of today. The announcement comes via the Official Google Mobile blog, and describes the feature as a way to “find out more about a place in your immediate vicinity.”
The way it works is really quite simple. From the mobile Google page, select “Near me now”. Choices of locations such as restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and even ATMs can be toggled — then bringing various locations up by distance.

Google’s even compiled a demonstration video for “near me now”.
