Six Out of Ten in Korea Willing to Buy Google’s Nexus One

According to a quick online poll conducted by SmartphoneNow, 66 percent of respondents from Korea put the Google’s latest Android adventure Nexus One as No. 1 smartphone on their wish list, putting behind over 13 other Android phones which are expected to be introduced this year.
Following the NexusOne, Motorola ranks No. 2 with 12% and LG Electronics at 10%. Samsung Electronics had only a 4% response.
Meanwhile, KT, the exclusive distributor of Apple’s iPhone in the local market, officially said it is considering selling the NexusOne. In an official Twitter, the company said, “We are conducting a review process about whether to introduce the NexusOne.”

SK Telecom, the biggest mobile operator, announced plans for over 13 kinds of Android phone this year. If KT can be the first to launch the NexusOne in Korea, the company may take the initiative in the fast growing smartphone market.
