Super tuff Bluebird BIP-6000 Android handset revealed

SDG Systems has just announced that it will soon be providing the handset with the Android 1.5 operating system.
For starters, It comes with 3.5-inch VGA touchscreen display, 3-megapixel camera, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth and microSD support – all staples of the smartphone world, but rarely seen on handsets designed for heavy-duty usage. It can cope with 12 drops onto steel from a height of 1.8 metres, operate in temperatures from -18 to 55 degrees Celsius, and is impervious to dust.

It will be coming with prices around the $2,000 mark (£1,200).
