Giving another boost to the rising gaming support for Android, Oberon Media yesterday announced its support of Android.
Through its publishing division, I-play, the company has planned a full lineup of compelling games for Android powered mobile devices for 2010.
In addition to debuting beloved I-play franchises including Fast & Furious, Deal or No Deal and Bubble Town on a new platform, Oberon will continue to differentiate itself in the Android Market with the integration of connected social and micro-transaction features into its smartphone games.
“I-play has been providing high-end gaming content for mobile devices since the creation of this genre,” said Keith Adair, VP Sales & Marketing for Mobile at I-play. “We will be ramping up our focus on the smartphone market in 2010, especially on Android. This promising platform has a potential for a wide reach and a user-friendly, high-quality, socially-connected gaming experience, that will ensure that the Android market continues to grow for a very long time.”
I-play is announcing an initial lineup of games that features titles based on ever-popular franchises including: Deal or No Deal: Around the World, Bubble Town 2, Turbo Subs, Paradise Quest, Artist Colony, and Fast & Furious: Adrenaline. The company has strong relationships with the same wireless carriers, handset manufacturers and distribution partners as Android, which enables them to maximize the value for the consumer.
