Acer has just confirmed the launch of two new Android smartphones – Acer beTouch E110 and E400. The smartphones run on Android 1.5 Cupcake and 2.1 Eclair respectively. According to Acer, E110 features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen and the E400 packs a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen.
The beTouch E110 is similar to the HTC Tattoo, one of most popular budget Android handsets, however there is one unusual omission – Wi-Fi.
The beTouch E400 is expected to cost more, with speedier 600MHz processor. At just 12mm thick, it’s only a shade chunkier than Google Nexus One.
