The HTC Desire might be launching in India in the last week of May, revealed HTC Customer Care. HTC Desire is almost identical to Google Nexus One smartphone in specs, so it might be a nice consolation for Indian Android lovers, who are still waiting for N1’s release in India.

The only difference between N1 and HTC Desire is HTC Sense UI, this company’s alternate user interface which isn’t included with Nexus One. Rest everything is same: 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and a microSD card slot.
It will also includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, compass, and an array of other features.
