Samsung Acclaim heading to US Cellular

Nobody seems to leaving behind in Android wars, not even regional operators. After Cellular South, it is US Cellular, which is in total mood to expand its inventory of Android phones. We already knew about HTC Desire which is going to it hit US Cellular soon, but there is another Android in waiting and it’s QWERTY.

Samsung’s latest mid-range Android adventure SGH-R880 or Acclaim is coming to the operator in July. Talking about the device, it will come pre-loaded with Android 2.1. More specs include 3.0 Mega AF Camera w/flash, 3.2″ HVGA(320*480) TFT w/Touch C-Type, Android OS Eclair, GMS (Google Mobile Service – Gmail, YouTube, GoogleMap, AndroidMarket, Google Talk, Google Search, Google Calendar), Webkit based Browser provided by Google, Micro SD slot, Speaker Phone, 5 USCC preload applications & WiFi.
