Asus subsidiary AGAit working on Android/Chrome tablet

AGAiT LogoTablets have become the next big thing for manufacturers now. Everybody from Apple to Samsung is making their tablets based on either Android or other platforms, even Ubuntu has jumped in the arena with its own version of linux for tablets.
Even Asus is not left behind, we all know about their Eeepad plans. Now, Digitimes is reporting that Asustek subsidiary AGAiT is working on an Android/Chrome OS based tablet.
This tablet will be marketed in emerging economies like India, Brazil, Russia and others. it would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor and is expected to be available around 2010 end.
