Galaxy Tab renamed ‘Tape’ coming with 1.2 GHz A8 at core

Samsung Galaxy TabLooks like, there are more tablet news these days than smartphone news. Remember sPad , the Android based tablet, which Samsung is manufacturing. We last reported via Samsung South Africa that it will be called Samsung Galaxy Tab. Vietnamese site Tinh Te is now reporting it might be called Galaxy Tape not ‘Tab’. Funny name for a tablet.
Galaxy Tape will have Android 2.2 on-board, with 1.2 Ghz A8 processor at the core. It is expected to launch in September. Find more specs below:

  • Processor: A8, 1.2GHz clock.
  • Memory: 16GB, can upgrade to 48GB memory card.
  • External memory cards: MicroSD, up to 32GB.
  • Display: Super AMOLED, size 7.
  • Weight: 370g.
  • Battery: 4000 mAh.
