India’s $35 tablet gets ‘hands on’ treatment (Video)


Folks over NDTV got their hands on the much talked about $35 tablet from Indian government in the Gadget Guru show. There is too much hype around the device, but we did not know much about the device till now, we even did not see it running.

Finally we have something to droll over and yes, it indeed runs Android and more you can see in the video below. (Skip directly ’09:20′ to to see the tablet in action)

According to the information till now, this tablet will come in three versions of 5, 7, and 9 inches displays. It will be packed with 2 GB RAM memory, wi-fi connectivity, USB port and powered by a 2-watt system to suit poor power supply areas.
