Epic 4G available from Aug 31 for $249.99 with contract

Those of you were waiting for Sprint latest foray in 4G, it is almost here. Sprint today announced that Samsung Epic 4G will be available beginning Tuesday, Aug 31, in all Sprint retail channels, including Sprint.com, Telesales and national retail partners, RadioShack, Best Buy and Walmart, with Sprint Stores opening at 8 a.m. local time. You can also pre order it at www.sprint.com/epic4g beginning Friday, Aug 13. The smartphone will cost $249.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $100 mail-in rebate.
While Epic 4G on launch will come with Android 2.1, Sprint plans to upgrade it to Android 2.2 in the coming months.
