Motorola launches Quench XT3 Android phone in Singapore

Motorola recently announced Quench XT3 Android phone in Singapore. The entry level smartphone was first released in Taiwan last month. It will be exclusively available with telecom service provider M1.

“We are excited about the exclusive launch of the Motorola QUENCH XT3 in Singapore,” said P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer of M1. “It is a trendy device that supports excellent mobile Internet capabilities.

Together with the attractive data bundle on our smartphone plans, it will offer our customers hours of fun staying connected on-the go. What’s more, we will be introducing more exclusive deals in the coming months to meet the lifestyle needs of different customer segments. ”

Nothing fancy here specifications-wise, Motorola Quench XT3 features a 3.2-inch HVGA (320 x 480 resolution) touch screen with pinch and zoom display, 3-megapixel built-in camera with LED flash, Android 1.6, and Qualcomm MSM 7227 600MHz processor. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, and 32GB memory card support.

The Android-powered Quench XT3 will be available for sale in Singapore from 7th August at a recommended retail price of S$468 or S$148 with a two-year contract at all M1 Shop outlets and its authorized dealers.
