Samsung Android tablet to be called Galaxy “Pad” in Korea & “Tab” elsewhere?

Leaked Photo of Samsung Galaxy Tab

We have been hearing this rumour of Samsung keeping two names for its upcoming Android tablet, one for Korea and other elsewhere. Seems company has finally settled on a name for South Korea, and nothing innovative here – “Galaxy Pad“, reported MK.co.kr. While in all other countries it will be called “Galaxy Tab” only.
As leaked previously also, it is almost confirmed that company will indeed be coming with 7 inch and 10 inch versions of the tablet.
Galaxy Pad will be featuring Android 2.2 on-board, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 16GB internal memory (32GB expandable), 1 Ghz CPU and it will weigh “370g” only, which is almost half of Apple iPad. Cool 😛
Another bit of news is SK Telecom will be carrying the tablet in South Korea with immediate availability after launch in IFA Berlin.
