Garmin-Asus launches nuvifone A10 in Taiwan with Chunghwa Telecom

Garmin-Asus has launched their Android powered nuvifone A10 in Taiwan yesterday. The navigation oriented smartphone will be available with telecom operator Chunghwa Telecom, reported Digitimes.

The company aims to sell over 25,000 units of nuvifone A10 in the Taiwanese market, while the target for global sales is 200,000 units. In the series of the global launches, Garmin Asus is expected to launch A10 in India soon.

nuvifone A10 comes with Android 1.6 (obsolete, expected to be updated to Android 2.1 on launch), Qualcomm 7227 600MHz processor, 512MB SDRAM+512MB SLC + 4G eMMC Flash, 3.2″ HVGA TFT display with capacitive touch, 5 Mega-Pixel camera with Auto Focus and 1500 mAh battery.
