Google to announce partners for Chrome OS tablets soon

We have heard about the possible Chrome OS tablet from HTC’s den launching this Black Friday in US. Today Google chief executive Eric Schmidt gave a sorta confirmation of the launch.
Reuters is reporting that Schmidt said Google would announce partnerships later this year with makers of tablet computers that would use Google’s new Chrome operating system, due to be launched soon.
So get ready for the HTC Chrome OS tablet, which will be coming on Verizon. On the specifications front, it is expected to feature NVidia’s Tegra 2 platform and sport a 1280×720 multitouch display, 2GB of RAM, minimum 32GB SSD, WiFi/Bluetooth/3G connectivity, GPS and webcam.
