Virgin Mobile to launch Samsung Intercept as their first Android phone

Virgin Mobile has decided to launch Samsung Intercept as its first Android phone. Samsung Intercept comes with QWERTY slider paired with a 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen, Android 2.1, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS receiver, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Virgin Mobile has not announced the pricing or the availability date for the smartphone. The official launch is expected in the coming few weeks.
