Froyo sporting OlivePad available online and reaching in stores soon

Finally, it is here, it is currently selling online and will be available shortly in stores. Olive Telecom, which launched its Android tablet – OlivePad way back in July, seems to have been working to update the device to Android 2.2 before letting it out in the market.

Seems a lot of wait and then Gingerbread is arriving any day now, I hope it is worth it. Well, lets forget about all that and talk about the tablet, it will be available across major electronic stores including Croma – their initial launch partner – for Rs 25,990. Olive Telecom is also offering the tablet via its newly launched online store.  This Android tablet features Android 2.2, 7-inch display with 800 x 480 resolution, Bluetooth, WiFi, an SD card slot, 512MB of internal memory (plus 512MB ROM), a 3.5mm audio jack, 3 megapixel camera, mini USB socket and a 3,240mAh battery.

OlivePad will come with 16GB Memory card, Free lifetime subscription to MapmyIndia worth Rs 2500, Free 6 months subscription to Zenga TV and Free Leather case in the box.
