Telstra launches T-Touch Android tablet in Australia for $299

Australian Telecom operator Telstra today launched a tablet to grab a pie of growing tablet market. Named T-Touch, this Android 2.1 tablet will be sold for $299, and you will get 3GB of data in that price.

Telstra T-Touch will go on sale from 2 November; it will be available from most Telstra Stores, Telstra Licensed stores, online and with select retailers.

Talking about the tablet, which looks like a re-branded version of Huawei Smakit S7, comes with 7-inch touch screen, front and rear facing cameras, 720p playback, 3G connectivity, plus a dock with HDMI out, two USB 2.0 ports, and two microSDHC slots.
