Dell’s entry-level Android smartphone XCD28 spotted [Update – ZTE Racer?]

It just came out of the blue, Dell’s new Android smartphone XCD28 has been spotted on Indian e-retailer Flipkart as well as on Twitter account of a Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom.

Looking like an entry-level Android smartphone, that might be targeted only to emerging economies like India, Brazil.

Among the specifications, Dell XCD28 comes with 2.8 Inch Resistive display, Android V2.1 (Eclair), 600Mhz ARM Processor, 3.2MP camera, 1000mAH Li-Ion battery and 3G.

It is being sold for Rs. 10,599 on Flipkart, and almost same price[ Rs. 10,900] has been quoted by Mahesh Telecom.

Update: As one of the commentators pointed out – It indeed looks like a Dell branded ZTE Racer and specs match perfectly. But Why??
