An entry-level smartphone powered by the Android 2.1 (Eclair) operating system (OS), Huawei Ascend is priced at $179. It comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA, 3.2 MP, and Wi-Fi.

According to reports Engadget, Huawei Ascend is a handset made of plastic material. Ascend HVGA equipped with 3.5 inch touch screen. For the camera, Ascend has a 3.2 MP fixed-focus camera that can record video reportedly only CIF. Another key feature Huawei Ascend is WiFi and 3G. On the software side there will be Android 2.1 (Eclair), which is supported by the Qualcomm MSM 7200A 528 MHz.
