HTC to launch tablet name Flyer in March

We all knew that HTC will be coming up with a tablet, but details were always sparse on the matter. Apart from a trademark filing for the name Scribe, nothing more has been reveleaved about HTC’s upcoming tablet.

Now, according to a report in Digitimes, HTC will be launching a tablet named Flyer with Gingerbread on it. Flyer will receive the Honeycomb update after the release. Publication went on to call it a big HTC Desire, that seems a little odd considering HTC puts a lot a product designing.

While US will be first to get the tablet in March, other countries will get in Q2. And Flyer is not all, HTC will also launch two more tablets in June with Honeycomb on-board and HTC Scribe might be one of them. So, it seems HTC want to push a tablet in the market before the biggies like Xoom arrive.
