Evernote Android app updated; supports Notebook stacks

Evernote today released a big update for its Android app. This note taking application now supports editing of stylized notes [not creating], a new snippet view and the ability to see “Notebook Stacks” made on desktop versions among the several features.

You can find the full update changelog below:

  • Added an additional note browsing view called snippets
  • Added browsing notebook stacks
  • Improved editor which allows editing of any note
  • Improve sync and note viewing and editing performance
  • Updated access to account info
  • Automatic disable of background sync after a week of complete inactivity
  • Fixed image scaling of notes
  • Numerous bug fixes
