Benchmarks – Five dual core Android phones compete

nVIDIA Tegra 2 might have got the early mover’s advantage but the dual core arena will soon be filled with more processor options. Many Android devices including Samsung Galaxy S2 and rumored HTC Pyramid will come with Qualcomm or Samsung Exynos dual core processors.

But, which processor of these is the best performer; folks over A&M compiled a full benchmarking report based on the performance of five Android phones Motorola Atrix, HTC Pyramid, LG Optimus 2X, Optimus 3D, and Samsung Galaxy S2.

Note: Optimus 3D, Galaxy S II, and HTC Pyramid/Shooter were benchmarked on pre-production software so the final performance numbers could be different and Atrix 4G and HTC Shooter feature qHD displays that have a higher resolution (960 x 540) so they have to push 30% more pixels.

You can check the detailed benchmarking results here.

    Hi,
when a processor has been said as dual core at 1GHZ means there will be two processor running at 1 Ghz or two processor together running at 2 Ghz
