LG India launches Cricket World Cup limited edition Optimus One phones

LG has announced that it has released a limited edition World Cup Cricket version of Optimus One Android smartphone in India. There will only be 1000 units on sale in eight Indians major cities.

This limited edition Optimus One comes with shiny gold World Cup logo engraved on it back along with other style tweaks in the smartphone. It is available for a price of INR 12990 right now.

So, if you are a cricket as well as Android junkie, you might just want to grab the offer before the units sell out. To remind you of LG Optimus One specifications, it comes with Android 2.2 on board, company has promised Gingerbread update. Other features include 3.2 inch display, 3MP camera, 600 Mhz processor, 170 MB of internal memory with microSD card support, and 1500 mAh battery.

Limited Edition Optimus One has some special pre-loaded cricket applications, said Visahal Chopra, business head of mobile communication of LG at a press conference in Hyderabad.
