More high end phones from Motorola will get Webtop docking support

Fancy that Atrix WebTop dock; do not worry if you can’t buy Atrix. It will no more be the sole possessor of Webtop. Starting this June, all future Motorola high-end smartphones will include Webtop, announced Motorola Mobility chairman Sanjay Jha.

We are expecting that the list of high end smartphones also includes Droid Bionic. The device was ideally supposed to ship the Webtop earlier but could not do so, due to time constraints.

So which phones are getting Webtop? Most likely the ones that have dual-core processors and either dual-channel RAM or at least 1 GB of  RAM.

You see…this is a cool idea…and would have been much cooler 5 years ago. The problem is I don’t see the wide appeal.

I prefer to have a tablet and a phone. Works for me.
