HTC Wildfire S now on preorder in India for INR 14K

Another HTC Android smartphone is soon going to be available in the Indian Market. While we are still waiting for HTC to announce Wildfire S in the Indian market, the smartphone went on preorder at various online stores today including Flipkart and Indiaplaza.

Letsbuy is one exception, which is taking direct orders for the device and is promising to ship the device within 4-7 days, but we would suggest you to wait for the official announcement from HTC.  Company is expected to officially announce the launch sometime later this week or next week.

HTC Wildfire S, which is the successor entry-level HTC Android phone Wildfire, features Android 2.3, 600 MHz processor, 5 MP camera, 512 MB RAM and 3.2 inch display with 320 x 480 pixel resolution.

Prices at different stores:

  • Letsbuy: INR 13,999
  • Flipkart: INR 14,510
  • Indiaplaza: INR 14,999

Thanks Akanksha, Sushant for the tip

@ aditya….the phone’s already official…it was launched today and flipkart says will deliver within 4 days…but i think u mean retail when u meant official….it takes time to hit retail ranging from 1 week to 3 weeks depending on the store but retail will definitely charge higher…flipkart shows price around 14,510 rs…that converted to retail will come around 16,000 rs!

Nope, It doesn’t support flash player. Because it has a ARM v6 CPU while the minimum requirement for Flash Player is ARM v7 CPU. It has flash lite support in the browser to make up for that though.

With 600 MHz CPU it is not worth for Rs 14000, does it support flash player 10.2?

Once announced I think it will be available for Rs 13000~13500
