Google has officially confirmed the existence of Ice Cream Sandwich, which will be Android’s next version. There was no version number announcement as of now, but we are expecting it to be called Android 3.5.
Ice Cream Sandwich will combine Gingerbread and Honeycomb along with cool new stuff and make it optimized for all the Android devices, whether it is tablets, smartphones or even Google TV. Developers will get advanced tools to make apps compatible with all these devices including new APIs, frameworks
Ice Cream Sandwich will be launched in the Q4 and will be Google’s “most ambitious Android release ever”.
