Sony Ericsson Xperia Active, Ray debut in India

Adding to the growing list of Android device launches today, Sony Ericsson has announced Xperia Active and Xperia Ray for the Indian Market. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 1Ghz processors, both the devices come with Gingerbread on-board. Company is yet to announce the pricing for either of the smartphones.

Xperia Ray: Younger cousin of Xperia Arc, Ray packs the same power in much smaller chassis.

Xperia Active: Sony Ericsson has targeted Active to consumers, who are active and want a tough device with sporty looks. Considering their activities in mind, Xperia Active is Water-resistant (under 1m of water for up to 30 minutes) and dustproof.
