Acer Iconia Tab A500/501 getting Android 3.2 update

Acer has started rolling out Android 3.2 update for Iconia Tab A500 and 501 tablets in some regions. Although the exact roll-out pattern is still unclear but users across continents are reportedly getting the updates.

So, if you are Iconia Tab owner, time to check for software updates now on your device, or you can wait for the notification to pop up on its own or you can just apply one of the many custom ROMs floating in XDA that are based on the latest release i.e. Android 3.2.

I just purchased the A500 and updated to 3.2.

Not sure what the mic was like before, but barely usable now.

Did Acer ackowledge a problem and do a fix?

    You’re joking right.
I’ve had Android 3.2 on my Acer Iconia A500 via OTA update about 3 weeks ago over here in the UK.

They finally fixed the low microphone issue and fixed the browser crashing problems.
