Motorola reveals Android powered fitness device MOTOACTV

Motorola has announced a new Android powered fitness device MOTOACTV today along with Droid RAZR. A lightweight, wearable fitness performance tracker and music device rolled into one, MOTOACTV tracks your fitness activities and even connects with Android so that you can answer calls; receive texts without stopping your workout.

MOTOACTV features a 1.6” inch capacitive display and 600MHz processor inside. It automatically syncs your fitness data including performance stats MOTOACTV.com.

Motorola is also introducing sports headphones to go with MOTOACTV, these headphone come with built-in heart rate monitors. Dubbed as Motorola SF700 (wireless) and Motorola SF500 (wired), these will be sold separately.

Pricing & Availability: It will be available in United States first with Verizon starting November 6, 2011, and will be sold at stores including Best Buy, Eastern Mountain Sports, REI, The Sports Authority and online at Amazon.com. MOTOACTV will also be available in Latin America and Europe starting in Q1 2012.

MOTOACTV 8G is going to be sold at $249 and $299 for 16G. Motorola SF700 and Motorola SF500 will be priced at $149 and $99 MSRP respectively.
