CyanogenMod now officially supports LG Optimus 3D, Pro, Hub & Samsung Epic 4G

Good news for thousands of LG Optimus Pro, Hub, 3D and Samsung Epic 4G users out there, CyanogenMOD (CM) team now officially supports these devices. The nightlies have already started for the LG phones along with the ROM Manager support for Optimus Pro and Hub.

CM team has also released the first official build for Samsung Epic 4G SPH-D700 (V7.2.0-RC0), and it is now available for download.

For those of you, who don’t know about CM – it is a community supported third party AOSP based firmware. Along with the usual Android goodness, it comes with several tweaks and improvements to give a rocking experience.

In other news, Optimus Black has also got nightlies back from today. You can grab the all nightlies from here.

The installation process of CM remains the same.

  1. Unlock/root your device and install Clockwork Recovery
  2. Do a Nandroid backup!
  3. Full WIPE
  4. Install the ROM
  5. Optionally install the Google Add-on
