CM9 Trebuchet launcher now available for download

CyanogenMOD’s revamped launcher for CM9, “Trebuchet” is now available for download at XDA. It works on Android 4.0.3+ devices and needs root access (needs to be installed on /system).

Trebuchet launcher features (available right now):

  • Custom number of Home-screens
  • Enable/Disable Persistent Search Bar
  • Separated Apps/Widgets in Drawer
  • Resize Any Widget
  • Show and Fade Scrolling Indicator in Home-screen and App-Drawer
  • Enable/Disable Auto-Rotate
  • Drawer Apps Sorting (Title, Install Date)

Upcoming:

  • Infinite Scrolling
  • Dock (Custom pages and size)
  • Transition Effects (Home-screen and App-drawer)
  • Backup and Restore

Manual Install Instructions:

CWM method:

  • Download Trebuchet.zip
  • Put on sdcard
  • Reboot in recovery
  • Install ZIP from SDcard

ADB Method:

  • Download Trebuchet.apk
  • Run the following commands using ADB
  • adb remount
  • adb push Trebuchet.apk /system/app

    what does mean need to be installed on system?
