HTC Jetstream gets rooted, instructions available now

After a long wait and a lot of efforts, HTC’s first Honeycomb tablet Jetstream has finally been rooted. Currently, root access can only be obtained on the Jetstream units with unlocked bootloader, so you will first have to get your bootloader unlocked by using instructions at htcdev.com.

Then, you will have to hotboot an insecure kernel followed by running the root tool and you will achieve the mighty powers of root access on your AT&T HTC Jetstream 4G.

You need to pretty handy to follow these instructions as a major part of this whole processor requires you to deal with command line. You can grab the required downloads /detailed instructions from the original XDA thread.

Were there any of you who actually bought this ultra-expensive tablet and were looking to get your hands on a rooting method for long?
