Pantech is expected to launch its first Honeycomb tablet on AT&T in US early-next year. This tablet is expected to feature an 8 inch display and LTE connectivity, reported Korean publication jkn.co.kr.
There are no other details available right now, but all this lines up perfectly with Pantech P4100, which was leaked via a benchmarking site in September and then showed up at FCC with AT&T compatible LTE bands. We believe that Pantech P4100 is the tablet that we are going to see pretty soon on AT&T.
As per earlier leaked information, P4100 has a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon processor inside along with 1024x720p display, HDMI out, rear camera and LED flash. Chances are that we will see P4100’s face at CES next month, unless AT&T has planned something else.
In other news, jkn.co.kr has also reported that LG Optimus Pad LTE will also be making its way to US; it was recently announced in South Korea.
